How to send money to friends & family
It’s easy for you to send money to friends and family anywhere within the US or around the world.
Use our store locator to find your nearest Money Services.
Stop by and give the store associate the receiver’s name, their location, and the amount you want to send so the associate can set up the transfer.
Choose ‘Cash Pick-up’.
Decide on your transfer option.
Give the fee* and amount to be sent to the store associate either as cash or using a bank-issued debit card from the US.
Give the receiver the 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) so they can pick up the cash. Remind them they’ll also need a photo ID to pick up their money.
Sending money to a bank account
Using Money Services, you can send money directly to a friend or family member’s bank account. It’s easy – you just need to make sure you include the receiver’s bank account information.
