MONEY SERVICES EXPRESS: A NEW WAY TO SEND MONEY
Money Services Express, powered by Western Union and Ria Money Transfer is a new and convenient way to send money to loved ones around the world. With money transfers via Money Services Express, you can start your transfer on line f rom the comfort of your own home, before heading to your nearest Money Services location to complete your transaction.
HOW DOES MONEY SERVICES EXPRESS WORK?
Visit the Money Services Express and log in using your Kroger Loyalty account details, or follow the instructions to set one up in a few clicks. Once logged in, select the start a Money Transfer option. If you have used our service before, you’ll be able to view your previous Money Transfer transactions.
Choose your local store using our handy store locator and complete the form provided to help us understand where you want to send your money.
Once complete, view a summary of your transaction. Either continue to finalize your order, or make another Money Transfer and when finished, you’ll receive a final summary and a unique barcode via email to present in store.
Visit your selected store to complete your transaction. You’ll need to bring your barcode, valid ID, and a debit card or cash to cover the send amount and fees.

Can I track my money?
The easiest way to track your transfer is to sign up for SMS alerts to receive a text notification when your funds have been paid out. Message and data rates may apply. If you’re transferring with Ria, visit riafinancial.com or download the Ria Money Transfer app to track your transfer using your PIN number. If your payment is through Western Union, you can track your money using your MTCN on their website or app too. If you’re sending a cash payment, you can also call your local store’s customer service.
Can I cancel my transaction?
This will depend on the circumstances. Call either Ria, Western Union or your local Money Services to find out whether you can cancel.
Will I be taxed if I send money abroad?
If you’re sending internationally from the US, you normally won’t be taxed. If you’re receiving money within the US, it’s unlikely you’ll be taxed but you’ll need to declare it to the IRS.
How much can I send?
With Ria, you can send up to $5,000 within the US and up to $10,000 internationally, depending on your destination and delivery method. You can send up to $5,000 with Money Services and Western Union.
What’s the best way to send money?
The best way for you to send money will depend on how much you want to send, how quickly it needs to arrive and how you want the funds to deliver. Speak to our in-store team and they’ll be able to help you with your transaction.
